Aims of the course:
1. To acquaint students with the basic properties of direct and alternating current and issues related to the protection of health and safety of users of electrical devices up to 1kV.
2. To acquaint students with the basic properties of DC and AC machines and with issues related to the principles of their use.
3. To acquaint students with the basic properties of semiconductor elements and semiconductor electronic circuits.
4. Improving and expanding the skills of measuring electrical and non-electrical quantities using electrical methods.
5. Developing the skills of responsible cooperation and communication in the group.
KNOWLEDGE – A STUDENT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS:
1. theory of electrical engineering, electronics and electrical devices used in mechanical and mechatronic devices,
2. principles of occupational health and safety with regard to the use of electrical devices.
SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO:
1. obtaining information from literature, databases and other sources, is able to integrate the information obtained, interpret it and draw conclusions and formulate and justify opinions in the area of construction and operation of machines,
2. individual and team work, knows how to estimate the time needed for implementation of the commissioned task, is able to develop and implement a work schedule ensuring meeting deadlines,
3. use his practical skills related to the maintenance of devices, facilities and systems technical.
SOCIAL SKILLS – A STUDENT IS READY TO:
1. lifelong learning, can inspire and organize the proces learning other people,
2. cooperation and work in a group, assuming different roles in it.
