Behavioral economics ERASMUS>EKO21

The subject includes issues related to the basic issues of the behavior of market entities, the rationality of their operation and how it affects the efficiency of the market. It also analyzes the influence of psychological, cognitive, emotional, cultural and social factors on individual decisions and how these decisions differ from those of classical economic theory.

Learning outcomes:
KNOWLEDGE – A STUDENT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS:
1. the functioning of the economy, the relations of its entities with the environment in the micro- and macroeconomic dimension, with particular emphasis on the behavior of individual consumers.

SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO:
2. to use the knowledge of economic paradigms and their relations with the practice of conducting a debate on the functioning of consumers, the causes of behavior and their interpretation.
