Warehousing technology ERASMUS>WHTEC
Aims of the course:
1. familiarize students with basic definitions related to storage and inventory
2. to acquaint students with classification, division and functions of warehouses
3. to acquaint students with functional-spatial arrangement of warehouses and methods of storing materials
4. teach students about transport systems in warehouses
5. to acquaint students with warehouse processes
6. acquire the ability to calculate the scope of design arrangements of technological solutions in warehouses
7. acquiring skills of arranging and identifying materials in a warehouse
8. to realize the need and necessity of continuous self-education, the habit of finding the necessary information and data from various sources and their rational use in storage technology.
Learning outcomes:
1. understands and explains basic definitions related to storage and inventory.
2. lists and explains the classification, division and functions of warehouses.
3. understands and explains the functional-spatial layout of warehouses and methods of storing materials.
4. can list transportation systems in warehouses.
5. has knowledge of warehouse processes.
6. has knowledge of the ability to design and calculate the scope of design arrangements in technological solutions of warehouses.
7. know how to apply and perform proper placement and identification of materials in a warehouse.
8. is able to correctly arrange materials in a warehouse
