Gynecology and obstetrics ERASMUS>RAT18
The aim of the course is:
1. Passing on the knowledge from particular periods in a woman’s life – physiology, pathology and tasks of obstetric care.
2. Passing on the knowledge about individual diseases in gynecology – the ability to diagnose and differentiate.
3. Obtaining knowledge about gynecological operations and emergencies.
4. Ability to take care of a patient treated surgically.
5. Presentation of the specificity of gynecological care for an ambulatory patient.
6. Preparing the student for independent, skillfully observe and take care of patient in the perioperative period.
7. Patient care in the event of irregularities in the course of the postoperative period.
8. Improving the ability to establish contact with the patient and her family, in the hospital-conducting education and health promotion.

W cyklu 2025/2026-Z:
The course aims to: 1. Understand the various periods in a woman's life – physiology, pathology, and the tasks of obstetric care. 2. Provide knowledge about specific gynecological diseases – the ability to recognize and differentiate them. 3. Gain knowledge about gynecological surgeries and gynecological emergencies. 4. Be able to provide care for a patient undergoing surgery. 5. Demonstrate the specific nature of gynecological care for an outpatient. 6. Prepare students for independent care of patients during the perioperative period and for competent observation and care of the patient. 7. Provide care for patients in the event of abnormalities occurring during the postoperative period. 8. Improve communication skills with patients and their families in the hospital – providing health education and promotion. |
