Pharmacology – exercises
The exercises aim to introduce students to basic pharmacological concepts and terminology, as well as the principles of safe pharmacotherapy.
The scope and practical tasks include:
1. Mechanisms of drug action and their use in the treatment of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, nervous, and respiratory system diseases.
2. Drug interactions and the influence of diet and supplements on the course of pharmacotherapy.
3. Principles of drug prescribing, selection of doses and concentrations based on the summary of product characteristics and clinical procedures.
4. Application of pharmacological knowledge in nursing practice.
