The aim of the course is to develop the students’ competence in writing (at B2 level).
KNOWLEDGE - A STUDENT KNOWS the practical usage of vocabulary characteristic of formal and informal written statements in English at B2 level
SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO express themselves in writing in a formal or informal way, formulating a logical and coherent text (180-200 words) at B2 level, targeted at a specific addressee.
SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO correct language errors in written statements at B2 level, under the teacher’s guidance.
SOCIAL SKILLS – A STUDENT IS READY TO develop linguistic competence at B2 level using mono- and bilingual dictionaries by formulating a written statement.

Efekty kształcenia
After passing the subject, a student:
1. knows vocabulary specific for formal and informal written expressions in English at a B1+ level.
2. is able to write short (150-180 words) formal and informal texts at a B1+ level which are coherent, consistent and addressed to the specific addressee.
3. is able to correct his mistakes in written expressions (at a B1+ level) under the guidance of a lecturer.
4. develops her/his language skills (at a B1+ level) by using monolingual and bilingual dictionaries while formulating written expressions.
