Circuit theory I ERASMUS>ELE02
AIM OF TH COURSE:
1. transfer the structured knowledge of the basic laws of electrical engineering, properties of electrical circuit elements and steady state analysis of linear RLC circuits.
2. acquisition and improvement of the ability to analyze linear RLC circuits in steady state.
3. provide structured knowledge on the analysis of RLC circuits in non-sinusoidal and transient states, three-phase systems and power measurement in these
4. acquisition and improvement of the ability to determine and measure power, voltage distribution and current flow in RLC circuits with non-sinusoidal excitation, in transient states and in three-phase systems.
5. developing the ability of an electrical engineer to act consciously.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
KNOWLEDGE – A STUDENT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS:
1. basic theory of electric circuits. He knows the basic rights electrical engineering, knows the basic properties of electrical circuit elements, has knowledge of steady states and understand the methods used in linear analysis circuits.
2. the laws of RLC circuits with non-sinusoidal extortion and their transients states, knows and understands issues related to three-phase systems, their power analysis and measurements.
SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO:
1. apply theoretical foundations in the analysis of linear electric circuits in steady state.
2. work individually and in a small team, is able to develop and implement a work schedule ensuring meeting the deadline. Can develop documentation with implementation of an engineering task.
3. apply the theoretical foundations in the analysis of linear electric circuits in transient states and with distorted waveforms.
4. analyze three-phase symmetrical and unsymmetrical systems. He can measure powers in various configurations of these systems.
5. apply theoretical foundations in the analysis of linear electric circuits in steady state.
SOCIAL SKILLS – A STUDENT IS READY TO:
1. to act related to awareness of the importance and understanding of various aspects and effects of an electrical engineer activity, including the impact on the environment, and the associated responsibility of his decisions.
