Aims of the course:
1. to acquaint students with the basic directional definitions, functions of managing the environment of transport and forwarding enterprise
2. acquaint students with issues of marketing in an enterprise
3. to get students acquainted with the principles of carrying out analysis of vehicle fleet usage and transport and forwarding company environment
4. acquaint students with the use of economic and planning analysis in managing a transport and forwarding company
5. to get acquainted with service quality in road transport
6. to acquaint students with the ability to plan and monitor transport operations and to organize the forwarding and transport process in road transport
Learning outcomes:
1. is able to apply the principles and problems of marketing in an enterprise.
2. has knowledge about service quality standard in public passenger transport.
3. has knowledge about forwarding and transport processes.
4. understand and explain basic directional definitions, management functions, environment of transport and forwarding company.
5. is able to and carry out an analysis of the use of rolling stock in the transport company.
6. is able to apply and appropriately select electronic techniques in the management of a transport and forwarding enterprise.
7. is able to identify and solve a problem in the logistics process.
8. is able to appropriately identify priorities to accomplish a specific transportation logistics task.
