This course organizes knowledge about the structures, organization, and functioning principles of public (passenger and freight) transport, with special emphasis on road transport. It also covers: the impact of globalization on public transport organization, determinants of public transport development, planning and designing transport solutions in spatial contexts, and planning and optimizing passenger transport in public systems.
