Aims of the course:
1. to acquaint students with the issues concerning the application of ICT methods and systems in transportation.
2. to prepare students for practical use of IT tools in logistics
Learning outcomes:
1. knows formal methods of information engineering and electronic documents and digital libraries.
2. understands methodologies of producing information products and modelling processes and phenomena.
3. knows what autonomous robots and dedicated systems are used for.
4. explains the terms Telemedicine and e-health, e-economy, e-region, e-state, e-Europe.
5. applies engineering and knowledge management.
6. knows how to use intelligent information services and new generation ICT networks.
7. explains what is the development of information society and electronic infosystems.
8. is able to apply mobile Internet and wireless systems.
9. is able to apply IT tools in logistics.
10. is able to use IT tools applied in warehouse inventory storage processes.
