ICT systems in transport ERASMUS>TRA11
Aims of the course:
1. to learn basic technologies and techniques of functioning of ICT systems and networks used for supporting, organizing and managing transport
2. acquiring skills of assessing usefulness of selected technologies for application in transport companies and organizations.
Learning outcomes:
1. defines the types of information systems used in transportation and the models occurring in them and knows the measures of the amount of information
2. knows and can characterize main elements of telematic systems in application to transport infrastructure
3. is familiar with the telematics of the means of transport and the methods of its connection with the information and communication systems of the infrastructure for various branches of transport
4. is able to select information technology according to the branch of transport
5. is able to give an example of the use of telematic devices for traffic supervision and control
