Familiarize students with the basics of disaster medicine, differences in patient care during multiple and mass casualty incidents. The teaching objective is also to provide students with knowledge about the types of potential disasters, their recognition, and early response. Familiarize students with the organization of the emergency medical services system and crisis management.

7 Organization of information transfer in medical support for mass casualties and disasters.
8 Principles of transporting casualties.
9 The role of the hospital emergency department during mass casualties caused by terror attacks.
10 Objectives and structure of the National Rescue and Firefighting System. Powers of units of the National Rescue and Firefighting System.
