Pre-hospital rescue procedures ERASMUS>RAT11
Preparing each student to undertake an independent assessment of the patient’s health condition with, and without a diagnosed injury. Recognition of sudden health threats and implementation of procedures adequate to the patient’s condition, including manual cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of an AED. Paying attention to performing medical rescue activities in the field of pre-hospital care in injures, including securing the injured person for transport to hospital. All activities should be based on the performer ITLS rapid trauma assessment.

Term 2025/2026-L:
Preparing students to independently assess the health status of patients with and without trauma, recognizing sudden health threats, and implementing appropriate procedures for the patient's condition, including performing non-instrumental cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of an AED and performing emergency medical procedures in the scope of pre-hospital care for trauma, including securing the injured person for transport, based on a completed ITLS trauma examination using rescue equipment. |
