Pediatrics and pediatric nursing I – simulated exercises
The exercises aim to prepare students to care for children and adolescents, with particular emphasis on care planning and disease entities occurring in the developmental age population.
The scope and practical tasks include:
1. Nursing procedures for children with acute gastroenteritis, atopic dermatitis, dyspnoea, and seizure episodes.
2. Principles of infectious isolation and collecting specimens for diagnostic testing.
3. Assessment of the child’s psychomotor development.
4. Planning and implementing the nursing process, case study.
Location: Medical Simulation Center ANS in Piła
Organisational requirements: medical clothing (top and trousers), clean medical or sports footwear, ID badge.
