Care and Therapeutic Education in Chronic Diseases I
(including chronic cardiovascular diseases – heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, arterial hypertension) – simulated exercises
The exercises aim to prepare students to care for patients with chronic diseases, including cardiovascular conditions (heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, arterial hypertension), and to conduct therapeutic education for the patient and their family.
The scope and practical tasks include:
1. Monitoring patients with cardiovascular diseases and using modern technologies in health status monitoring.
2. Planning and conducting therapeutic education for the patient and their family.
3. Preparing the patient for self-care and self-management – arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias.
4. Developing post-hospital nursing instructions for the patient, their family, or caregiver.
5. Medical documentation and patient observation charts.
6. Using standardised nursing procedures in the care of cardiac patients.
Location: Medical Simulation Center ANS in Piła
Organisational requirements: medical clothing (top and trousers), clean medical or sports footwear, ID badge.
