Objectives and assumptions of the course:
1. Preparing the student to understand and interpret knowledge in the field of neurology and neurological nursing regarding the causes, symptoms and rules of conduct in selected neurological diseases and injuries of the nervous system in order to care for these patients.
2. Preparing the student to use the acquired knowledge in professional practice, planning and implementing nursing care for a patient with a nervous system disease.
3. Theoretical and practical deepening of knowledge and skills in the field of preventive and nursing procedures in relation to a patient with a disease of the central and peripheral nervous system.
4. Practical preparation of students to provide professional care to patients with diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system.
