COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
Upon completion of the course and confirmation of achieving the intended learning outcomes, the student:
1. Possesses in-depth and structured knowledge about the teacher, the nature of their work, and its effectiveness.
2. Describes the teacher's personality and the conditions for building authority, as well as characterizes classroom management styles and their consequences for the teaching and educational process.
3. Is able to analyze theoretical approaches to the functions, tasks, and professional roles of a teacher in the context of a reforming school and the contemporary challenges of pedagogical work.
4. Can build social relationships with other stakeholders and collaborate to achieve shared goals.
5. Is able to creatively interpret received information regarding the teacher's work and, based on it, formulate recommendations for pedagogical practice.
6. Can identify mistakes made in pedagogical practice and analyze their causes.
7. Can design and justify effective methods of action within pedagogical practice.
8. Appreciates the importance of self-development and good practices in building relationships with participants in the pedagogical process.
9. Recognizes the value of pedagogical knowledge and practice in the everyday work of preschool and early childhood education teachers.
10. Understands the necessity of evaluating their own career path and taking steps toward the professionalization of their tasks in the areas of childcare and education.

1. Pedeutology as the science and knowledge about the teacher.
2. Tasks of the teacher in the modern school, including legal regulations; teacher professional advancement.
3. Desired teacher competencies. Innovation and creativity in didactic and educational work.
4. Building teacher authority with consideration of students’ developmental levels.
5. Teacher burnout – causes, symptoms, coping strategies. Ethical aspects of the profession.
