Sociology of development and social change ERASMUS>PED07
The subject presents the latest findings in the sociology of social change and development. It addresses issues of currently used theories of change and social development, such as: differences between development, change, process, crisis and progress; factors of social change; characteristics of the transition from traditional society to post-modern society in the Western cultural circle; contemporary transformations of individual and collective identities and trauma of social change. The subject is a description and an attempt to explain social phenomena and problems of contemporary society in the context of global social processes.
