The aim of the course is to introduce students to the history of European philosophical ideas, with particular emphasis on classical and modern concepts of human nature, to make students familiar with the most important systems of normative ethics; to make them aware of the significance and influence of philosophical concepts on the development of culture and science; to show the role of philosophical and ethical reflection on human being in pedagogical practice; to show the role of philosophical and ethical reflection on man in pedagogical practice.
