Introduction to pedagogy ERASMUS>PED01
The course focuses on shaping in students the image of pedagogy as a humanistic, empirical and social science. Transfer of basic, integrated in the holistic scheme, knowledge about human development, socialization, upbringing and self-education. To acquaint students with basic knowledge about the world of institutionalized education, about educational practice; to improve abilities to perceive, analyze and solve educational problems. Developing skills of conscious reception and formulation of messages on education. The subjects deal with the Pedagogy as a science, i.e. the subject of the research of the pedagogy; upbringing and didactic systems; didactic research methods in the pedagogy; basic notions of the pedagogy. Pedagogical thought and contemporary pedagogical currents and trends. Different formulas of thinking about the education. The upbringing as the social phenomenon. The axiological basis of the upbringing: the understanding of the values and their typology, the pedagogical axiology; the premises of the upbringing in the values and towards the values.
