Practical English 3 ERASMUS>FIL08
The aim of the course is to develop students’ language competences in the field of integrated skills (reading, speaking, listening).
The student knows and understands the practical use of vocabulary and grammatical structures at C1 level
Students can express themselves correctly in terms of content and language at C1 level, presenting, discussing, defending their opinions
The student is able to understand the content of audio recordings at C1 level and extract specific information contained in them
The student can understand the content of texts written at C1 level, and can find detailed information in them
The student is able to solve practical problems based on knowledge and critical analysis of received information
Learning outcomes
After passing the subject, a student:
1. knows vocabulary, lexical and grammatical structures at an advanced level (at least at a B2 level).
2. is able to speak properly in terms of linguistic and substantive correctness at least at a B2 level when presenting, discussing, defending her/his opinion.
3. can understand audio recordings at least at a B2 level and can extract specific information from recordings.
4. can understand texts at least at a B2 level and can find detailed information in texts.
5. is able to work on projects and tasks both on her/his own and in a group.
