The aim of the course is to develop correct pronunciation among students in the scope of the subject curriculum content based on standard British pronunciation (Received Pronunciation)
The student knows and understands the practical application of knowledge in the field of pronunciation of combined speech phenomena, the rhythm and intonation patterns of standard British pronunciation found in the practiced discourse.
The student pronounces the vowels and diphthongs of standard British pronunciation correctly; performs the correct phonetic notation of words containing vowels and diphthongs of standard British pronunciation.
The student makes a critical selection of information in the field of the subject content to use it to correctly pronounce vowels and diphthongs in standard British pronunciation.
