Circuit theory II ERASMUS>ELE03
AIM OF TH COURSE:
1. provision of structured knowledge in the field of operator calculus, methods of analyzing transient states in electrical circuits, operator transmittance and frequency characteristics of simple electrical systems.
2. acquisition and improvement of the ability to analyze RLC circuits in steady state.
3. developing the ability of an electrical engineer to act consciously.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
KNOWLEDGE – A STUDENT KNOWS AND UNDERSTANDS:
1. applications of operator calculus in circuit analysis. He knows the operator method for the analysis of transient states in electrical circuits. He knows the rules of determining the transfer function and frequency characteristics of simple first and second order electrical systems.
SKILLS – A STUDENT IS ABLE TO:
1. apply theoretical foundations in the analysis of linear electric circuits in steady state.
2. apply the operator method in the analysis of transient states in electrical circuits, determine the operator transmittance and frequency characteristics of simple first and second order electrical systems.
3. work individually and in a small team, is able to develop and implement a work schedule ensuring meeting the deadline. Is able to develop documentation on the implementation of an engineering task.
4. analyze three-phase symmetrical and unsymmetrical systems and measure the powers in various configurations of these systems.
5. apply theoretical foundations in the analysis of linear electric circuits in transient states and with distorted waveforms.
SOCIAL SKILLS – A STUDENT IS READY TO:
1. to act related to awareness of the importance and understanding of various aspects and effects of an electrical engineer activity, including the impact on the environment, and the associated responsibility of his decisions.
