Clinical physiotherapy in dysfunction of movement organs I ERASMUS>CFDM1
Aims of the course:
1. Gaining knowledge from movement dysfunction (etiology, symptoms, diagnostics, progress) in orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurology (also paediatric).
2. Evaluating physiotherapy instruments. Performing therapeutic exercises for people with movement dysfunctions in orthopaedics, rheumatology, neurology (also paediatric) according to their clinical and functional state.
3. Planning and verification of progressing the therapy using proper therapeutic methods.
4. Awareness of ethical rules of physiotherapists.

1. Retroplasia of peripheral joint and spine. Rheumatoid inflammation of joints and ankylosing arthritis of spine – clinical basics.
2. Endoprothesis of hip joint, causes, types, proceeding after implanting endoprothesis, complications, re-educating of walking. Endoprothesis of knee joint, causes, types, proceeding after implanting endoprothesis, complications, re-educating of walking.
3. Rachialgia – introduction to methods of mechanical diagnosis and treatment according to McKenzie.
4. Scoliosis – clinical basics.
5. Cerebral palsy – clinical basics. Meningomyelocele, cleft spine – etiology, symptoms, treatment and therapy.
6. Injuries of upper and lower limbs. Amputation – clinical basics.
7. Spinal cord injuries – clinical basics. Spasticity.
8. Brain stroke – clinical basics. Facial and trigeminal paralysis.
9. Duchenne muscular dystrophy and spinal muscular atrophy as an example of genetic disorder. Wryneck and brachial plexus paralysis – etiology, symptoms, treatment and therapy.
10. Multiple sclerosis – clinical basics.
