Aims of the course:
1. Student knows and applies the basic numerical methods used in issues in the field of construction.
2. Student can choose the appropriate numerical method to solve the problem engineering in construction
3. Student is able to prepare an algorithm to solve a task.
4. Student is able to perform calculations and discuss the results obtained.

Learning outcomes
1. The Student is aware of the benefits of using it numerical computational techniques for solving engineering issues related to construction.
2. The Student is able to use selected computer programs supporting design decisions in construction. Can critically evaluate the results of numerical analysis building constructions.
3. The Student knows numerical methods applicable in theory construction and basics of the Finite Element Method.
4. The Student has structured knowledge in the field of professional supporting computer software structural design including numerical methods analysis of building structures and design dimensioning, principles of correct definition of the calculation model (static diagrams, loads, etc.), accuracy numerical calculations, the basics of modelling three-dimensional in relation to engineering issues, creating project documentation.
