Strength of Materials II ERASMUS>BUD02
Aims of the course:
1. Familiarize students with the methods of creating structure elements when the condition is met integrated and condition of stiffness and components of the structure consisting in the complex state of stress.
2. Teach students to analyze torsion bars.
3. Developing a sense of reliability and service for the task performed.

Learning outcomes
1. The Student can use the differential equation of the axis deformed beam and determine its deflections.
2. The Student can determine the stress and position of the neutral axis for oblique bending and eccentric squeezing or stretching.
3. The Student able to determine the critical force for an axially compressed rod and design the cross-section of such a rod.
4. The Student able to analyze the stress for elements in a complex state of stress and determine reduced stresses.
5. The Student can determine the stress and deformation in bars twisted.
6. The Student understands the need for systematic and reliable learning solving tasks for the results of which he is responsible
